BRUNO DUMONT speaks about his filmography

The director has according an interview to Variety after his masterclass at the Doha Film Institute in Qumra and after meeting numerous young arabic directors.

He reveals his feeling about meet new directors, about his filmograpphy and gives some details on his upcoming film JEANNETTE !

"What I was interested in is how a young very simple peasant girl can become such an icon and have a desire to become a warrior of God, which for me is a total mystery."

DAO KHANONG honored by 11 nominations at the Subhannahong Awards

Anocha Suwichakornpong feature film received 11 nominations in 10 categories (with two nominations in Best supporting actress) for the Subhannahong Awards 2017 organized by the Federation of National Film Associations of Thailand (FNFAT).

DAO KHANONG is nominate in all the most important categories.

The ceremony will be held on March 5.

After ten years abroad, Catherine returns to Luxembourg to catch up with her daughter Alba, who is being brought up by Catherine's other Elisabeth. Alba is cold and distant towards this stranger who show up unexpectedly in her life, and so is Elisabeth, keen to keep her protégée to herself. one day, Catherine cannot take it anymore. She "kidnaps" Alba and takes her on a trip to lake up North. So begins an unsettling journey into puzzling and complex world of motherly love begins, only to find out that sometimes the true opponent is yourself.
