Argentina during the mid 1970s: a wave of unprecedented political violence begins to unfold. Dario, a fifty-year-old well-known lawyer, is leading a placid life with his family. Until one evening, when Dario gets into an argument with a stranger. In the confusion of the ensuing fight the man pulls a gun and shoots himself in the head but does not die. Dario, instead of reaching for help, decides to abandon the still living stranger in the nearby desert. As time passes, he realizes that his secret is only one in many.
